One of our most notable traits as a school is the professionalism of our instructors. Our Owner/Head Instructor is an Honors Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and his training with some of the brightest and most talented professors in the world in school and in the martial arts enables him to bring a wealth of knowledge and success skills that are easily transferred to all of our students. Another one of our more notable traits is our family atmosphere. Our instructors and students are over 50 percent female and includes several people in their mid 50's. There are several families that train together. Perfect health and/or natural athletic ability are not required. Our Kenpo Karate program is designed for realistic and practical street self-defense applications. Emphasis is on techniques that will take control and/or take down any opponent regardless of size or strength. These techniques are effective against multiple attackers and are currently in use by the Navy Seals, FBI, DEA and over 50 Police Departments around the country. Weapons defense is also part of our curriculum.

Aerobic Kickboxing
"Have to say joining Medina's KB class was one of the best things I have done. Great owner, instructors & people in the class. Not one mean or unfriendly person . Each instructor takes their time to make sure you get it. Other class members are all great. You never feel out of place ,even right from the start. You will not be sorry if you join. It's one kick a## workout and you felt great when you are done. Tired & sore , but good ." Florence Kelly

Aerobic Kickboxing is the fastest growing area of popular aerobic exercise: It is fun, not repetitive and boring. You can burn up to 800 calories per hour, the high end of the fat-burning scale, as opposed to 300 to 400 calories in an average one-hour traditional aerobic class. It is a great cardio enhancement program. It is an effective stress relief program. It works the upper body as well as the lower body for an over-all challenging workout. It develops strength, flexibility and stamina. Results are prompt and visible. It has desirable self-defense benefits, increasing skills and self-confidence.
